Hallveig Stonewall the Trollkin Runeshaperby *Ravenpuff

A little side project for ~AduroT as thanks for some help from him

He asked me to draw his Trollkin character, Hallveig Stonewall. Sadly I don't know much if anything about the universe these guys come from, but I tried my best with the refs I was given.

I don't think it turned out too bad. Though, as usual, I had problems making a stoney looking surface to the slap of floating rock the guy uses as a shield.
Took me forever to get his pose to work and I'm not sure if I made him bulky enough... Bulky is hard.
I'm even less sure if I can colour this pic without ruining it, since I end making it a clean pencil drawing instead of sketching and inking. I hope ~AduroT is okay with it like this..
Was a fun challenge to draw this guy. Very different from my usual stuff lately. More details, less pony. I just hope it can do

I likes it! Critique wise, yeah, could probably use more of a big chin, but the armor mostly hides that both in the drawing and the reference model, and as you said it didn't come off quite as bulky as should be. Trollkin are also known for not having pupils in the artwork, but I didn't tell you that in hindsight.

I do loves the armor and all the runes and I do think the stone shield came out rather well done. Overall a definite job well done given you've not been exposed to the Iron Kingdoms and Warmachine/Hordes before. Now I have to go show this off on the forums!
