Man. After complaining in beginning of December about we rarely get much snow here in Denmark, we didn't only got a white christmas.. it is still snowing!

After a while where it was only the cold keeping the snow around, we felt sure it would melt soon enough.
But yesterday it just started to snow like a crazy bitch. It was that day I had an appointment in town and was lucky to get on a bus though it was very late. In town I got a call from mom telling me to go outside the building I was in after I told her where I was so they could come pick me up in car. All the bus lines had just been cancelled and if they didn't drove the car back home NAO we wouldn't be able to get back home for all the snow.

I was supposed to buy some fresh ink pens after my appointment, but had to cancel that when I got picked up by mom and dad after they went out to get my brother. All got early off from work or school, so we could get home.
It was a slow ride home, I remember at some point when we was getting close to home the snow made it just impossible to see anything. Serious! It was all white and dad was unsure if he was still on the road. Luckily they got some tall yellow sticks set up on each side of the road so we could see we were on the right track and we got home safely.

It has been snowing all day and night and is still snowing now. The buses will still not go anywhere and a lot of people got snow dayoff. Except me.
The main road in the village gets cleaned up by a snowplough quite often though not enough for the buses to come by due to the drifting snow, but it's enough for the news paper company to get through and dump the morning news paper at my door ( though mom had to dig it out of a drift in front of our door to get it ) and as long they can get the papers out to me I have to bring them out.
Not easy to dig out all those letter boxes out of the snow. Some parts I had to go through snow to my knees for several meters to get to the letter box. And half of time probably hasn't cared to go out to their boxes to get the news paper today anyway.
I saw quite a lot of people staring out of their windows with a phone in their hand, to tell their boss they had to get snow dayoff since they can't get their car out on the road or get on the non-visiting bus.

A few people was trying to dig out their cars, one guy had been smart enough to park his on the side of the road so it would be easier to get to work as soon he got the car free. The people I met was happy to be told which roads I had been visiting on my round that was possible to drive on or not to get out of town.

But no sad mines from me, I took it all as an experience. It was quite fun. And when I got home I took a nice hot shower and mom baked buns 8D Yum. Though I had to get back out into the snow to get to Granny's and get some butter for the buns Had a nice talk with her after succeeding to jump my way to their door over all the big piles of snow.
Heh, their dog Chang who usually just love snow just refused to leave the house, even to pee, because of the huge amount of snow everywhere. Enough is enough X3

It's still snowing now it got dark again. Now the snow reaches up to our windows. But I'll probably be sent out with papers tomorrow too. As long they can get them out to me, I have to bring them out.

Even though all that, I'm quite positive. Though I hope we'll be able to get fresh surplies soon enough, buns with only butter can be a little boring.
Only thing I'm really down about is my cold sores, but that's off topic and not your business.

Well, to talk about something else: I'll be trying to focus on BS stuff from now on so I can get it done. Puuuh, feeling a little nervous but that's typical in first round. Though last time I got kicked out in the second round
Oh well, we'll just see how it'll go ^^ So there might be a while before I get new arts up. Hopefully it'll be worth it.

Well, I succeded to survive the New Year's celebration I hope you all had fun and came through it all in one piece ^^

A whole day without computer AND not drawing at all can be long and boring.. But I survived. Was out walking in the snow on the fields around the town and it has been snowing all day again. Neato.
Though I think Im starting to catch a cold

Apparently I'm the only one left in time who still thinks of safety around fireworks. My family even chuckled at my safety goggles after years of preaching to me about safety. Oh well, I'm just very nervous aroud firework. I have always been. I guess I suffer from overdose of them many warning videos they made us watch on the skools year after year.
I guess I looked a little silly too with my hearing protection, but I hate loud noises too. When the fireworks get started, you just can't get me out of the house without at least hearing protection to keep the noises and explosions down. That's just my thing, I use it every year. But the firework was very pretty.


New Years Resolution:
Try stop picking at the skin around my nails or at least not get caught at it by mom

Yup, that's all for now, since I really need to focus on getting rid of that bad habbit. Can too easily end bad.

Nothing else besides that for now. Besides my keyboard is being fat again these days
I'm trying to write some background story about Ker San for anyone interested in it Wanted to tell it for a while now.

Well, first thing first, my dear mother has now joined DA as well
will at some point get some pics up of all the neat things she makes. She's very creative, she makes patchworks, figures of different materials and different type of greeting cards. You'll see when she get the photos up of her products. You. Will.
Now the only one without DA account in the family is my dad. But I can't imagine him on DA. Or anyother sites than the usual work related ones


Yesterday, I went to the cinema with my siblings and to watch the movie "The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnasuss". Hadn't heard much of it, just fell over it on the cinema's website when looking for anything worth to go see since Mom gave us money for tickets as extra christmas presents.
It was surprising in different ways. Surprisingly good and surprising in the way it's build up with story and characters. I noticed how I automaticly in all movies search for who to label as hero, bad guy, girl in distress, wise figure, comic relief and so on, often unconscoiusly. Because people always get those titles in all movies.
But we had troubles figuring out who had which titles doing this movie. All the characters kept showing different sides of themselves so they couldn't just be labelled like that. The wise old man was just an old gambling, desperate drunk, the young woman in distress not the typical pure hearted young heroine, the bad guy showed not to be as bad as first thought and it was impossible to figure out who was the real hero.
It had a lot of wtf moments and I kept getting surprised or puzzled through the movie. Yet it was good. The story was good, classic story with a twist and made in a different way than I'm used to.
I love the effects used in the movie. I was waiting with excitement for evertime they would step through the mirror used as entrance to Dr. Parnasuss' special world inside his mind. It was made cartoony like so you knew they were in a different world than the reality, but made so way neat. All the things you could easily analyse as everytime someone stepped into that world, it would change to represent something about them, their past, personality and so on. Sometimes scaringly dark, others so wonderfully bright and peaceful.

It was a dark movie with its humourious moments. My personal fabourite of the characters in it would be the midget Percy. He was the one with least amount of layers to him personal wise. You knew where you had him. He wasn't the comic relief, no hero or bad guy, not just a sidekick. But he was solid and steady as a character. Kind of the voice of reason to Dr. Parnasuss, always knowing what was going on and ready to point our exactly how things were no matter how negative they were.
I think it's a movie worth watching.


Hmmm, more updates I made homemade doughnuts today ^w^
Second time I tried this. It's quite fun to make your own doughnuts. Used my grandmother's deep-fry pot and got plenty of sugar on them. Mmmm. Though they turn hard rather fast, so they have to be eaten fast Still yummilicious ^^

Besides that pointless update, tomorrow will be another strictly no-computer day. So I won't be online at all tomorrow, just like christmas. But I'll be back by Friday. I hope you'll all have a great New Year's Eve and DONT YOU DARE TO GET BLOWN UP. 'Kay? Good. It'd be nasty.
I'm still on strict drawing break. *Aphilien just threated to break my pencils if she catches me drawing something doing my break. That should motivate me
